The Jerome Humane Society is dedicated to helping the domestic & feral animals of Jerome, Arizona . The society offers low-cost spay/neuters & medical care for area strays, and quality veterinary care for pets & companion animals. Since its opening in 1992, the Jerome Humane Society has spayed or neutered, & vaccinated thousands of cats and dogs -- both owned pets & feral animals. To encourage pet owners to sterilize their companion animals, the Society pays half of the spay and neuter fees for Jerome residents. We also do low-cost spay or neuter, & vaccinations for the surrounding communities, including Clarkdale, Camp Verde, Cottonwood, and Sedona. For Jerome feral animals, the Society pays the entire fee for spay/neuter and vaccination. The clinic is open every Thursday by appointment from noon until 5:00 pm. Our licensed veterinarian, Dr. Virginia Kennaway , drives up from Phoenix to run the clinic, with the able assistance of volunteer technician help from the Jerome area.
The clinic is a non-profit organization, & has relied heavily on the community
for
funding
throughout its
history
